Subhadra is a Hindu goddess, mentioned in the ancient Hindu scriptures like the Mahabharata [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahabharata] and the Bhagavata Purana [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhagavata_Purana]. She is described as the favourite child of Vasudeva [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasudeva] and the sister of the deities Krishna [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krishna] and Balarama [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balarama]. According to the Mahabharata, Arjuna [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arjuna]—one of the Pandava [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandava] brothers—eloped with her and she later gave birth to his son, Abhimanyu [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abhimanyu]. Subhadra is one of the three deities worshipped at the Jagannath temple at Puri [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puri], along with Krishna [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krishna] (as Jagannatha) and Balarama [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balarama] (or Balabhadra).
