Episode 7: Unsolved Mysteries

In this episode our fearless hosts dive deep into the broth and explore the uncharted depths of soup news and history.  They ask the hard hitting questions so you don't have to, including: What happens when workplace drama leads to soupy sabotage?  Why is 50 Cent having an online feud with the Campbell's Company?  What the hell is "Jump In Your Mouth" soup, and what happened to the lobster chowder on the set of the movie "Titanic"?  All this, plus a soup-centric exploration of the origins of groundhog day and more.

Episode 6: New Year, New Soup

In the first episode of 2026, Josh and Eli join in the celebration of National Soup Month!  Where did this holiday come from, and why do we celebrate it to this day?  What does any of this have to do with unhinged racist rants about bioengineered meats and poor people?  All this plus more sordid tales from the soup crime files in this episode's edition of Soup News.  Then on the history front, find out what an acclaimed Japanese chef has in common with gas stations in the American south, and how a complicated colonial history led to a Haitian new year soup.

Episode 5: Raw Dogging Soup (Soupy Foods May Be Hot)

In this episode our fearless soup explorers bring you more news from the soup crimes division and discuss whether or not The Campbell's Company can separate itself from its soupy origins.  They also put on their tin foil time travel helmets to bring you the spicy history of chili and get into some sticky situations with portable soup.  All this plus more fictional soup restaurants and a couple musical numbers!

Episode 3: Soup Is For Lovers

In this episode we take a deep dive into the use of soup as a tool of protest, as well as the emergence of "forever soups" as a viral trend. We also complete Josh's soup history trilogy with the rise of colonialism,  and find out what soup has been served in the U.S. Senate for over 100 years. Slurps up!
