For pediatric cancer month we're joined by guest Shannon Berk of Justin Power Kids. Shannon is a physical therapist and co-founder of Just in Power Kids. She joins us today episode to discuss pediatric cancer, their foundation, and mission with Just in Power Kids. Just in Power kids was founded together with her husband Justin when their love of service and psychotherapy came together. With the foundation they find creative ways to help families in areas most people overlook like covering things like travel expenses and parking during their child's treatment. Just in Power Kids also uses holistic eastern therapy methods to treat the whole body. Justin Power Kids looks to incorporate eastern methods with western medicine. The podcast concludes with a short interview with Holly whose son is in the Just in Power Kids program. She talks how Justin and Shannon come alongside her and provide care. In conventional ways like providing therapeutic treatment as well as just providing and visiting on certain holidays. She discusses how they really became a second family to them.
