In this episode of the Spray United Methodist Church Podcast, we reflect on a powerful moment after the resurrection of Jesus, when He appeared to His disciples behind closed doors and spoke the words, “Peace be with you.”
The disciples were not celebrating—they were afraid. The doors were shut, and uncertainty filled the room. Yet Jesus did not come with correction or condemnation. He came with peace.
This episode explores the kind of peace that does not depend on circumstances, but on the presence of Christ. A peace that meets us in our fear, our uncertainty, and even in the places where we feel closed off.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of what comes next, this message is a reminder that Jesus still comes to us—right where we are—and still speaks, “Peace be with you.”
