Description

The 2026 NBA Free Agency period is the craziest edition. After weeks of speculation, Jaylen Brown has been traded. His new team is the Philadelphia 76ers. Stacey, Matt, and Noah agree the trade will greatly benefit Brown's needs and give the 76ers a boost to make it out of the Eastern Conference. Matt thinks the Celtics got fleeced and Stacey says Jayson Tatum must play at an MVP level to give the Celtics a shot at winning. Next, Stacey, Matt, and Noah react to LeBron James announcing he will not return to the Los Angeles Lakers. Stacey and Matt were shocked while Noah suspected LeBron was going to leave and join the Cleveland Cavaliers. Matt thinks LeBron will end up with Golden State. All three believe the Lakers have built a solid roster around Luka Doncic. The guys love Kawhi Leonard going back to the Toronto Raptors and are hopeful Ja Morant can turn things around with the Portland TrailBlazers. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Bulls Hire Splitter, Giannis' Choices, Darryn Peterson

The NBA-centric episode starts with Stacey, Matt, and Mason discussing the Chicago Bulls hiring former NBA player and Portland Trail Blazers' interim head coach, Tiago Splitter, as their new head coach. All three believe the Blazers made a mistake by letting Splitter walk, and he will be a great fit for the Bulls' young roster. The only question that remains is how the team will build over the next few seasons. Next, the trio debates which team is the better fit for Giannis Antetokounmpo: the Boston Celtics or the Miami Heat. Stacey questions the fit with Jayson Tatum. Mason believes Giannis will have better individual success with the Heat, and Matt loves the Giannis-Tatum pairing. The episode veers into the NFL with Stacey, Matt, and Mason sharing which team still has questions to answer going into camp, and lastly, debating if the Washington Wizards should take Darryn Peterson first overall. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast.
