About Steps of Hope

Whether you’re listening in your car, on a walk, during a quiet moment at home, or in the middle of a busy day, thank you for taking this step with us. That’s really what this podcast is all about… taking steps. Not giant leaps. Not having everything figured out. Just faithful steps, one at a time toward hope. The Bible tells us in Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Notice what Scripture says, it’s a lamp for your feet, not a floodlight for the entire road. God often gives us just enough light for the next step. And that’s where the name Steps of Hope comes from. This podcast exists for people who are walking through real life, real pressure, real questions, real faith journeys and who are looking for direction, encouragement, and grounding in the Word of God.

Sermon Recap: Now Means Now

NOW Means NOW What if the moment you’ve been waiting for… is already here? In this powerful episode of the Steps of Hope Podcast, we recap the sermon “NOW Means NOW”, anchored in 2 Corinthians 6:2—“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” This isn’t a message about someday faith or delayed obedience. It’s a call to respond right now. Drawing from the Miracle on Ice, the midnight praise of Paul and Silas, and the bold worship strategy of Jehoshaphat, this episode challenges listeners to stop hesitating and start moving. You’ll be reminded that God’s grace is not on delay, His mercy is not back-ordered, and His power is available in this present moment. In this episode, we explore: Why prayer under pressure unlocks divine movement How praise before the proof confuses the enemy and releases God’s power Why the Kingdom of God is meant to be demonstrated, not just declared You’ll also hear practical challenges, discussion questions, and a clear Steps of Hope action challenge to help you turn faith into movement this week. If you’ve been waiting for the right time, the right feeling, or the right season this episode is for you. Now means now. Don’t delay. Take the step.

Sermon Recap: The Challenges of 2026

In this message, The 2026 Challenge, we are reminded that 2026 is not just another calendar year it is a threshold moment. A year that will bring challenges in different seasons and forms, but not a single challenge we will face alone. God has already attached promises to every challenge ahead. This sermon anchors us in the confidence of God’s Word, declaring that no weapon formed against us will prosper, that we are more than conquerors, and that every promise of God is still yes and amen. Walls will fall, chains will break, doors will open, and miracles will not be occasional; they will be the norm. The heart of the message centers on this truth: God is not forming an informed crowd He is forming a consecrated people. Information alone does not transform; formation does. As we step into 2026, the question is not what do we know, but who are we becoming. Using the repeated biblical theme of Chapter 20, Verse 26, this message calls the Church to be set apart: In holiness and identity Under authority and accountability Through worship, repentance, and correction By servant-hearted greatness In wisdom, maturity, and resurrection power With a testimony that carries eternal responsibility 2026 is asking a question of the Church: Will we be busy or built? Shallow or strong? Casual or consecrated? This episode is a call to alignment, discipleship, and commitment so that we are ready to carry what God is building for the next generation.

Introduction

Steps of Hope is launching in 2026. This podcast is a discipleship journey through the Word of God—designed to help us walk out Scripture in real, everyday life. Each episode is focused on taking intentional steps of faith, building consistency, and allowing God’s Word to shape how we live. Throughout the year, Steps of Hope follows three simple rhythms: Weekly Journey Through Scripture Once a week, we take a step together through Scripture—reading it, reflecting on it, and applying it to everyday life. This isn’t about deep theological debate; it’s about living the Word. How Scripture shapes our thinking, our responses, our relationships, and our trust in God. Weekly Sermon Recap (5 Minutes) Each week includes a short, five-minute recap of the most recent sermon. Life gets busy, and these episodes are designed to help you revisit the heart of the message. Each recap highlights the core Scripture, the main takeaway, and one practical challenge to carry into the week. Monthly Episode for Daily Living Once a month, we slow down and focus on practical topics for daily life, all rooted in biblical truth. Conversations center on faith in stressful seasons, building healthy habits, navigating uncertainty, and growing in family, purpose, and spiritual discipline. These episodes connect God’s Word to real-world living—where faith meets Monday morning. Steps of Hope is about progress, not perfection—walking forward, one step at a time, with God’s Word lighting the way.

En fantastisk app med et enormt stort udvalg af spændende podcasts. Podimo formår virkelig at lave godt indhold, der takler de lidt mere svære emner. At der så også er lydbøger oveni til en billig pris, gør at det er blevet min favorit app.
