According to the team's current depth chart, Chase Brown is the clear starter at running back, with veteran Samaje Perine serving as the primary backup and rookie Tahj Brooks providing developmental depth. Brown has developed into the centerpiece of Cincinnati's ground game. His speed, vision, and receiving ability make him a versatile weapon alongside quarterback Joe Burrow. The coaching staff is expected to lean heavily on him in both the running and passing games after his breakout performances over the past two seasons. Perine returns as a dependable veteran capable of handling pass protection, short-yardage situations, and spot starts if needed. Brooks offers physicality and fresh legs, giving the Bengals another option to develop behind the top two backs. At wide receiver, few teams can match Cincinnati's star power. Ja'Marr Chase remains one of the league's elite playmakers, combining explosive speed with exceptional route running and yards-after-catch ability. Tee Higgins provides a dominant outside presence with his size and ball skills, giving Burrow one of the NFL's premier receiving duos. Andrei Iosivas has solidified himself as the starting third receiver, bringing versatility from the slot and perimeter while continuing to expand his role in the offense. Behind the starters, Charlie Jones and Mitchell Tinsley provide depth and special teams value, while Ke'Shawn Williams and several young receivers compete for roster spots during training camp. Overall, the Bengals possess outstanding top-end talent at wide receiver and a stable running back rotation led by Brown. If the offensive line performs consistently and the group stays healthy, Cincinnati's offense should once again rank among the NFL's most explosive units entering the 2026 season.
