On December 1, 2017, 19 year old Ryan Shtuka packed up and moved to BC to work and spend more time snowboarding. When he said goodbye to his family, they had no idea it would be the last time they would see him. After a regular Friday night out with friends, Ryan seemingly vanished into thin air. Nobody knew where he was, and there has been no trace of him found to this day.

In September 2014, a woman at home is abruptly awoken to a home intruder. Her attempt to escape through a window on the roof leads to a terrifying moment captured on film and witnessed by her entire neighbourhood.

On October 6, 2003 a pilot returned to pick up the campers he had dropped off in the remote Alaskan wilderness a week earlier. When there was no sign of the campers, he made a quick search and crossed paths with an agitated brown bear. He called Park Rangers and when they arrived to investigate, they discovered the horrific aftermath of a vicious bear attack that killed 2 people. If that wasn’t horrifying enough, investigators soon found themselves listening to the final moments of the victims’ lives that were captured on audio.

It’s late but we’re giving you another bonus episode! This week Chris takes us back to 1983 where a gruesome and tragic workplace accident took place at the Byford Dolphin rig on the North Sea. This horrific incident resulted in the deaths of 5 workers that would lead to long-term changes in safety protocols for the individuals doing this dangerous work.
