Ep. 1`73 a Review of "Ladies First" - Netflix Original Feature

This week Andrew and Ted discuss the Netflix original Comedy / Romance feature "Ladies First", starring Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike. Damien (Cohen) is an advertising executive left to think quick on his feet when one of their biggest clients is considering pulling their business because they just didn't think that the male only executives at the ad agency could come up with a campaign that targets women. Damien says that's not true because they just appointed a woman as "Creative Director", which they had not. When faced with this announcement Damien calls the office and randomly promotes Alex (Pike) to the position as merely a facade. A bump on the head leaves Damien believing that roles within not only the agency but his sphere have him believing that women now rule the world and his office. Alex and Damien have literally reversed roles at the agency and Damien searches for a way to return his world back to what it was before he bumped his head. Along the way Damien learns what its like to be woman in the workplace.

Ep. 172 a Review of "The Punisher: One Last Kill" - Disney + Original

This week Andrew and Ted discuss the Disney + / Marvel original. Made as a possible "final" movie to the series, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) makes an attempt to permanently leave his bloody past behind but is dragged back into when a contract is put on his head by the mob boss wife widow Ma Gnucci (Judith Light). Tune into find out what Andrew and Ted thought about this mini-feature (50 minutes in length) and how many people Frank Castle kills within a 20 minute time span.

Ep. 171 a Review of "Remarkably Bright Creatures" a Netflix Original

This week Andrew and Ted sit down to discuss this "family style / heart warming" drama, starring Sally Field and Lewis Pullman. Tova (Field) is not only a widow but has also lost her only child. She works part time at the local aquarium after hours cleaning. Cameron (Pullman) and Tova's paths cross when he pulls into town searching for his father, who was never in his life, after his mother, who barely raised him herself, dies. When his van breaks down Cameron, who has not a penny to his name, seeks work to pay for the repairs. Tova has an accident that puts her on the injured reserve list and Cameron fills in for her at the aquarium. The two bond and share their life stories along the way, which in their special way to each their friendship becomes therapy. Ep. 170 a review of "APEX" - Netflix Original

This week Andrew and Ted come together to discuss the Netflix original suspense / thriller feature film "APEX", starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton. Outdoor enthusiast / extreme sportist Sasha (Theron) heads out for a little white water kayaking to clear her head as she morns the loss of her boyfriend that died during one of their mountain climbing adventures. Her moment for "clarity" takes on rough waters when she becomes serial killer / cannibal Ben (Egerton) prey in a game of cat and mouse as he seeks to make her his next victim.
