Sunrise
Two powerful earthquakes struck northern Venezuela within minutes of each other, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude. The second quake was the largest to hit the region in over a century. The disaster has claimed at least 920 lives, left 3,500 people injured, and approximately 50,000 people remain missing as rescue teams search through rubble for survivors.
