She’ll send me links to beach towns, mountain resorts, and vacation rentals in other states. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there wondering why we’d spend thousands of dollars to leave one of the most beautiful places in the country during the best time of year.The weather is perfect, the lakes are gorgeous, the mountains are green, and people literally travel here to vacation.
