We Cannot Stay Silent

When the authorities told Peter and John to stop speaking about Jesus, their response was simple: “We cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). In this episode of Unstoppable Gospel, we look at what it means to be bold when culture pressures us to be silent. We’ll see that: • Opposition is normal for followers of Christ. • Boldness comes from knowing Jesus personally. • The gospel itself is simple yet powerful — Christ died, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1–3). • God even uses opposition to spread His Word further. The Gospel Needs No Defense

“The gospel doesn’t need defending — it needs unleashing.” In this first episode of our Unstoppable Gospel series, we look at Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 2:9: “I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound!” Even when Paul sat chained in prison, he knew God’s Word could not be stopped. We’ll talk about why the gospel is powerful on its own, how we sometimes confuse defending it with protecting it, and why God’s Word keeps advancing even when it looks like everything is against it. From the early church facing persecution to today’s challenges in our culture, the truth remains: the gospel is unstoppable.

In the Beginning — John 1:1–5
