the atypical voice discusses being atypical in the midst of a social movement. Many atypical folks feel distanced from the action of other people’s daily lives, but we are and can be integral agents of change for women’s rights, BLM, indigenous lives, latinx lives, LGBTQ folks, and other marginalized people while still overcoming mental illness.

In this episode, I discuss when to hold your friends accountable for their words and actions in regards to personal boundaries and social justice and when to leave their toxicity behind. I also discuss Black and Asian solidarity, my OCD, and how atypical people are an integral part of the BLM movement. Disclaimer: I meant showing your oppressors peace and love have nothing to do with social justice. Secondly, there is some language and description of mental ailment.
