Relishing Each Delicious Moment

This week, I reflect on a trip to Berkeley to celebrate my daughter Rachel’s PhD graduation—a joyful milestone that also carried the bittersweet awareness of change, distance, and the passage of time. Along the way, I fulfilled a dream more than forty years in the making: a family lunch at the legendary Chez Panisse. What surprised me most wasn't the food (although it was extraordinary). It was the depth of presence I experienced while sharing that meal with my family. For a few precious hours, I felt fully immersed in the moment—savoring not only the flavors on my plate, but the love, gratitude, and fleeting beauty of being together. We begin with a card pull from the DREAMER Path Oracle Deck: Dream of Fire, an invitation to align personal vision with collective purpose and to trust the fire that lights our path forward. I also share reflections inspired by a talk from Caroline Myss (link below) and the ways we unconsciously give our energy away through worry, self-consciousness, and concern about what others think. The episode concludes with a guided meditation, Nourished by the Source, inspired by the beautiful song As We Bless the Source of Life by Carol Christ and Faith Rogow. Together we connect with the heart of the Earth, receive nourishment from the wellspring of life, and return to the simple practice of relishing each delicious moment. 🌸 Reflection One of this week's gifts was realizing that joy becomes even sweeter when we allow ourselves to be fully present to it. Not worrying about how we look. Not wondering what others think. Not rushing ahead to what comes next. Simply receiving the moment as it is. Perhaps that is what it means to relish each delicious moment. 💛 Invitation Have you ever had an experience that felt so rich, so meaningful, that you were completely present for it? Or perhaps a dream that took years—or decades—to come true? I'd love to hear your reflections. 🔗 Resources Mentioned Caroline Myss' talk [https://youtu.be/sihhq1zaFsM?si=69myLw0Mt4EDcpf8]on energy, identity, and the chakras DREAMER Path Oracle Deck--message me if you're interested in purchasing your own 🌿 Closing Blessing May you slow down. May you savor. May you receive. And may you relish each delicious moment. Con sabor de amor(with the flavor of love) — Susan ✨ This is a public episode. Medusa in Bloom

🌙 In This Episode -Pulling the Dream of Air oracle card -The phrase: “Petrify the patriarchy.” - Reclaiming Medusa as a sacred feminine archetype rather than a monster. -Feminine rage and cultural conditioning -The male gaze and female invisibility -Slow stitching as a healing practice -Creativity, embodiment, and feminine craft -Medusa and kundalini/life force energy - Mirrors, reflection, and transformation -Guided meditation journey into the Dark Feminine - Healing tones and vocal meditation 🎴 Oracle Card Pull: Dream of Air This week’s card reminds us: “Your dream matters, and you are never alone.” Dream of Air speaks to: possibility imagination inspiration breath hope creativity the invisible currents that carry our dreams forward. 🧵 Medusa in Bloom In this episode, I share the story behind my mixed-media embroidery piece Medusa in Bloom — a slow, intuitive artwork created stitch by stitch, bead by bead, snake by snake. What emerged surprised me:flowers, mirrors, rage, beauty, life force, and a reclaiming of feminine energy that had long remained hidden or suppressed. 🐍 Guided Meditation: Entering the Cave The meditation portion of this episode is a gentle exploration of the Dark Feminine. Together we: ground into the body through heart breathing, connect earth and spirit through the heart center, walk a forest path, enter a cave of feminine mystery and wisdom, rest in the presence of nurturing dark feminine energy, and receive healing through stillness, imagery, and vocal toning This is not an activating meditation, but a grounding and restorative one. An invitation to reconnect with: instinct creativity intuition ancient feminine knowing embodied presence ✨ Reflection What if the parts of ourselves we were taught to fear—rage, instinct, wildness, visibility—are also the source of our vitality? 🌿 Invitation Have you ever connected with this aspect of the feminine—the fierce, creative, untamed,or instinctual part of yourself? I’d love to hear your reflections. 💛 Closing Blessing Wishing you:deep roots, creative fire, gentle strength, and the courage to welcome home the hidden parts of yourself. Being Nowhere

We begin with a card pull from the DREAMER Path Oracle Deck: Song of Crystals, a reflection on the deep memory and wisdom carried within the earth and within us. From there, I share reflections inspired by Luis Mojica’s beautiful new book Food Therapy and guide you through a grounding meditation where we become ancient trees, rooted deeply in the heart of Mother Earth while gathering golden sunlight into our bodies. Pulling the Song of Crystals oracle card Reflections on Luis Mojica’s Food Therapy and co-regulation with the earth 🎴 Oracle Card Pull: Song of Crystals This week’s card reminds us: “The harmony of creation requires dissonance.” The card explores: earth wisdom memory held in the body pain and harmony cycles of life, death, and renewal listening to the song of the earth within us 🧘‍♀️ Guided Meditation In this episode, I guide a grounding meditation inspired by an experience from my own practice. Together we: settle into the body through heart breathing imagine ourselves as ancient trees root deeply into the earth connect our hearts with the heart of Mother Earth release what no longer serves us gather golden sunlight into the crown reconnect spirit and body, earth and sky This meditation is an invitation into: grounding belonging coherence spaciousness remembering 🌿 A Reflection What if belonging isn’t something we earn? What if we are already part of the whole—as inseparable from the earth as roots are from the tree? 💛 Invitation Have you ever experienced a moment where the feeling of separation softened—even briefly? I’d love to hear what helps you feel connected:to yourself,to the earth,or to something larger. 🌙 Closing Blessing Wishing you:deep roots, open skies, healing rest, sweet dreams, and deep peace. episode What Is Me—and What Is Not? artwork

What Is Me—and What Is Not?

In this episode, I share a meditation experience that surprised me—one that gently revealed the difference between what I am… and what I’ve been carrying. We begin with a card from my DREAMER Path Oracle Deck—Dream of Air—an invitation to trust that our dreams are held, carried, and transformed in ways we may not always see. From there, I reflect on a recent meditation practice shaped by my return to the Liberate Meditation Coach training—a simple but powerful shift from complexity to presence. In that space, something unexpected happened. A familiar pattern—anxiety, self-judgment, not-enoughness—took on a form of its own. Not something to fight. Not something to fix. But something to see… thank… and gently release. And in its place, something alive emerged. I also share a guided meditation you can return to anytime 🧘‍♀️ The Practice In the second half of this episode, I guide you through a gentle meditation: Grounding into the body and the earth Imagining being held and supported Allowing a thought, feeling, or pattern to take form Meeting it with kindness and curiosity Letting it go (if and when you’re ready) Receiving a gift in its place You might like to: lie down or sit comfortably hold a pillow or weighted blanket place a hand on your heart This is a practice of awareness, not force. 🌿 A Gentle Reflection What if what we carry… isn’t who we are? And what might become possiblewhen we see it clearlyand let it soften? 💛 Invitation I’d love to hear about your experience. Have you ever noticed something you’ve been carrying take shape in a surprising way? You can share in the comments or simply reflect quietly. 🌙 Closing Blessing Wishing youdeep peace, soft grounding, and maybe… a little more puppy energy 🐾 This is a public episode. episode What was never lost artwork

What was never lost

✨ Episode Description In this gentle, heart-centered episode, I explore what it means to return to ourselves—not by becoming someone new, but by remembering what has always been there. Inspired by a childhood drawing, a dream of music, and a meditation with the spirit of a willow tree, this reflection weaves together memory, creativity, and healing. We also explore the idea of the “pain body” and how it can quietly shape our thoughts, emotions, and sense of self—and how awareness allows us to soften its hold. The episode closes with a guided meditation centered on the playful and nourishing affirmation: “I relish each delicious moment.” An invitation to bring lightness, presence, and even a little joy into your practice. 🎴 Oracle Card Pull This week’s card: Protector of Sound A reflection on: harmony and belonging being held in a larger field of connection the healing and protective power of sound 🧘‍♀️ Meditation Practice In this episode, I guide you through a gentle, accessible meditation: settling with heart-centered breathing counting the breath from 10 to 1 returning to the breath with kindness when the mind wanders introducing a playful affirmation Affirmation: I relish each delicious moment You’re also invited to explore your own words—those that spark joy, curiosity, or a sense of wonder. 🌿 A Note on Practice Meditation doesn’t have to be rigid or serious. This is an invitation to: soften expectations trust yourself bring playfulness back into your practice There is no “right way”—only your way. 💛 Reflection What if the parts of you that feel lost…are simply waiting to be remembered? What words, images, or sensations help you return to yourself? 🌙 Invitation Have you ever reconnected with a younger version of yourself in an unexpected way? Or found a word, image, or feeling that brings you back to presence? I’d love to hear what resonates with you. This is a public episode.
