Even if the Gospels are reliable…what difference does it make? In Week 3, we confront the implications; if the Gospels accurately record that Jesus performed miracles, claimed to be the Son of God, and rose from the dead, then Christianity isn’t just one path among many. Jesus made exclusive claims. “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” That may sound narrow, but truth is not determined by what feels fair - truth is determined by what is real. If the resurrection happened in history, then Jesus is exactly who he claimed to be. And if that’s true, then he is not simply a teacher to admire, but a saviour to trust. This final week challenges each of us to move beyond intellectual consideration and respond personally. Because if the Gospels are true, the invitation is clear: Everyone is welcome. The price has been paid. And the decision matters.

If the Gospels were fabricated, why would their authors suffer and die for what they wrote? In Week 2, we look at the men behind the manuscripts. Were they liars? Were they confused? Or were they simply reporting what they had seen and heard? The earliest Christians did not die for a philosophy - they died claiming they had seen a risen savior. Their message was not “follow this teaching,” but “we saw Him alive.” We’ll examine why theories of legend or conspiracy fail to account for the evidence, and why the rapid spread of Christianity in the first century demands an explanation.
