đ¨Coach Jacob Yorođ¨ Coach Jacob Yoro is the Pass Game Coordinator, and Safeties Coach for the University of Missouri Tigers football team. A native of Mililani, Hawaii, Coach Yoro graduated from Saint Louis HS and played LB at the University of Montana before launching a coaching career that spans more than 20 years. He began at the high school level in Hawaii and steadily climbed the college ranks, with stops at Montana Western, Pacific (Ore.), and Cal Poly. He spent seven seasons at his alma mater, the University of HawaiĘťi (2017â2023), rising to Defensive Coordinator and Safeties Coach. In February 2024, he joined Missouri as a senior defensive analyst and was promoted to on-field Safeties Coach and Pass Game Coordinator in 2025. Known for his player development and defensive versatility, Coach Yoro has helped elevate Missouriâs secondary and contributed to a unit that ranked among the nationâs best in passing yards allowed during his early tenure with the Tigers.
