From Good Advice to Good News | Ps Jacob Baumann

Job tries the kind of “good advice” people often reach for in desperate moments: "fake it till you make it" or "get back to basics." But as Job wrestles with his suffering, he realizes his deepest need is not advice, effort, or self-cleansing. He needs someone who can stand between him and God. What Job longed for is ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the mediator, advocate, intercessor, and Redeemer who makes sinners right with God.
