Description

Episode Highlights: We're switching things up a bit on this episode by putting your usual host in the interviewee's seat. Double R shares the story of a shirt-tail relative who was a prisoner of war during World War II and his recent interment on American soil after dying in a fire at a prison camp in Japan only now to be identified and returned home. In the second segment, we sit down with the Commander of American Legion Post 97 to discuss the Legion's work in our community, supporting veterans, and the importance of suicide prevention and reaching out before a crisis becomes a tragedy. In the third segment, we'll meet a local family honoring the memory of a loved one through a newly established cancer foundation, transforming personal loss into a lasting legacy of hope, compassion, and support for others. Three conversations centered on remembrance, service, resilience, and the people who keep the memories of others alive—on the next episode of the Double R Show. * Roger Robertson, Fordville, North Dakota - Hometown * Kevin Lindsey, Commander American Legion Post #97 [kevin.lindsey1973@yahoo.com?subject=&body=] * Greg & Tank Dino, Race with Us [https://www.racewithus.org/home] Support the show [https://www.buymeacoffee.com/DoubleRShow] * Double R Show [https://www.doublershow.com/] - Visit us online -  * Roger@DoubleRshow.com [Roger@DoubleRshow.com]- Email us today -  * facebook.com/DoubleRShow [https://www.facebook.com/DoubleRShow] - Follow us -  * Buy Double R a Donut [https://www.buymeacoffee.com/DoubleRShow]- A way to support the podcast and local non-profits -  * Join as a Sponsor [roger@doublershow.com]- Advertise with us to promote your business -  All Ways Productions LLC   -  All Rights Reserved
