Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2561734/fan_mail/new] TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 [16] For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. [18] Therefore encourage one another with these words. (ESV) SUMMARY We read 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 and let it reshape how we think about mortality, fear, and what comes after death. We end the day with prayer, setting our hearts on resurrection hope and the promise that we will always be with the Lord. • evening mindset meditation centered on 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18  • why we instinctively protect ourselves through medicine and safety habits  • the honest confession that we are frail and mortal  • eternal life in Jesus as more than comfort, a real future with Him  • resurrection hope, bodies raised and reunited, transformed and whole  • encouragement to rest tonight with confidence rather than fear  • closing prayer for peace, strength, and a life that shows others Jesus  Support the Evening Mindset: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/EMSupport [https://morningmindsetmedia.com/EMSupport] Join over 16,000 daily listeners who enjoy the podcast that started it all… “The Morning Mindset”: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset [https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset]

We name the burdens we carry and fall asleep remembering that today does not get the final word. • reading and reflecting on the trumpet call of Scripture  • looking back on today’s hardships with honesty  • naming burdens like mistreatment, long trials, and chronic illness  • building a habit of remembering Jesus will return  • releasing tension with a deep breath at bedtime  • praying for confidence, empowerment, and hope for tomorrow  Please consider becoming a partner. Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2561734/fan_mail/new] TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 21:4 [4] He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” (ESV) SUMMARY We sit with Revelation 21:4 and let its promise speak louder than the tears, the exhaustion, and the questions that won’t resolve. We end the night by trusting that pain is real but not final, because God will make all things new through Jesus Christ. • reading Revelation 21:4 as an evening mindset meditation  • naming exhaustion, struggle, and repeated sorrow without pretending it is small  • wrestling with “why is this continuing?” and living with unanswered questions  • holding on to endurance in faithful service when explanations do not come  • imagining God’s comfort and the end of death, mourning, crying, and pain  • resting in the promise that the former things will pass away  • closing prayer for God’s presence and peace tonight  Support the Evening Mindset: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/EMSupport [https://morningmindsetmedia.com/EMSupport] Join over 16,000 daily listeners who enjoy the podcast that started it all… “The Morning Mindset”: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset [https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset]

Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2561734/fan_mail/new] TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 21:3 [3] And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. (ESV) SUMMARY We read Revelation 21:3 and slow down long enough to feel the weight of its promise that God’s dwelling place is with his people. We connect John’s vision to Jesus’ work and the Holy Spirit’s presence so we can lie down tonight with real comfort and peace. • Revelation 21:3 as a clear promise of God with his people  • John’s vision as both present insight and future hope  • a new kind of relationship where God dwells with us continually  • Jesus’ death and resurrection as the opened door to God  • the Holy Spirit living in believers as God’s presence right now  • bringing daily burdens into the light of God’s nearness  • future confidence of being with God fully and fearlessly  • closing prayer for hope, rest, and peace at day’s end  Support the Evening Mindset: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/EMSupport [https://morningmindsetmedia.com/EMSupport] Join over 16,000 daily listeners who enjoy the podcast that started it all… “The Morning Mindset”: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset [https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset]

Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2561734/fan_mail/new] TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 6:19–20 [19] We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, [20] where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. (ESV) SUMMARY We read Hebrews 6:19-20 and sit with its bold claim that Jesus is a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul. We connect the “behind the curtain” language to real-life stress and end with a prayer to rest in being accepted and loved in God’s presence. • Hebrews 6:19-20 as a picture of hope that holds  • Jesus as the better fulfillment of the Hebrew heritage  • The Holy of Holies image and what “behind the curtain” means  • Jesus as our forerunner and forever high priest  • An anchor that remains steady through worry and fear  • A closing prayer to shift our minds from stress to Christ  Support the Evening Mindset: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/EMSupport [https://morningmindsetmedia.com/EMSupport] Join over 16,000 daily listeners who enjoy the podcast that started it all… “The Morning Mindset”: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset [https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset]
