John chose this name to celebrate both the 50th anniversary of the band forming in 1976 and to talk about the upcoming new album 'X-Ray Serenade' set for release on the 4th September 2026. This episode 10 explores the standalone single 'Heart of New York' and the track 'Perfect timing' from the album Morethanmusic. John chats about the single and its origins as well as how the single was made and the production of the single and how different it was to much of John's other work. John also talks about the video for the single too and the reasons for choosing it. John also talks about the origins of the lyrics too. We hear about how John worked with a producer and the impact that had on the sound, what he thinks now about Stream looking back on that time as well as what was happening in the band. Strings - New Single Special

This is the first of a series of bonus podcasts focusing on new music coming this year. Episode one focuses on the first single of 2026, 'Strings'.
