In which the Scarecrow convenes the people of Jinxland to establish rightful rule, resulting in a joyful coronation and the promise of peace under Queen Gloria and her consort Pon. Afterwards, the friends prepare to leave the troubled land, guided by their faithful Ork companions to the gentle borders of Oz, where they find a mysterious, welcoming house and rest after their long journey.

In which the newly crowned Scarecrow assumes the throne amid the loyal subjects of Jinxland and commands the capture of the notorious witch Blinkie, determined to undo the wrongs she has wrought. With a box of magic bestowed by Glinda, he compels the witch to restore transformations and to thaw the frozen heart of Princess Gloria, rendering her once more joyous, whilst Blinkie’s powers are finally broken, leaving her powerless and forlorn.

The Scarecrow of Oz Chapter 18 - The Scarecrow Meets an Enemy

In which the brave Scarecrow boldly confronts the tyrannical King Krewl and proclaims Princess Gloria the rightful ruler of Jinxland, only to be captured and condemned to burn at the stake. Yet, just as the flames rise, a magnificent flock of Orks swoops down to rescue the Scarecrow, overthrow the wicked king, and hail the straw man as their new sovereign amid cheers and joyous acclaim.

The Scarecrow of Oz Chapter 17 - The Ork Rescues Button-Bright

In which the ever-cheerful Button-Bright wanders lost through the countryside, encountering various creatures and kindly folk, yet remains undismayed by his predicament. At last he meets the Ork, who carries him back to his friends near the King’s castle, bringing fresh hope and a promise of aid in their plight.
