breaking free from the munchies: blunts, binge eating & coming back to yourself

In this episode, I talk about something I’ve never shared publicly before: the shame spiral I used to go into after getting high and raiding the kitchen (even if I had made CELERY JUICE that morning & promised myself I was “never gonna eat that much again” lol) It was like I couldn’t stop myself. I’d smoke, get the munchies, eat everything in sight, and then I’d wake up the next day feeling bloated, ashamed, and disappointed in myself…like, “bitch WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF AGAIN? What’s wrong with you?” But it wasn’t about the food. Or the weed. Or not having enough willpower to break the pattern. The food & the weed were just tools that I was using to disconnect — because being with what was really going on inside me didn’t feel safe. We all have parts of ourselves we try to avoid… patterns we replay when our nervous system is in survival mode. And the healing starts when we meet those parts with love instead of judgment. When we feel our feelings instead of trying to smoke or eat them away. when the breakup is the breakthrough

I recorded this a little over a month ago… and for a minute, I almost didn’t post it. I had this voice in my head saying, “It’s been too long. Maybe it’s not relevant anymore.
