Being Whole Hearted : The Bigger Story

In this episode I discuss why we need to have a connection to the larger story. We need to understand and share the larger story. Our children and family need to understand how they are part of and where they fit in the larger story.

Being Whole Hearted : Our story

In this episode we will be discussing how the heart is a place that holds our story. How being whole hearted means being willing and able to look at our story and learning to understand it. We will learn to recognize how it is affecting us now and that we need to wrestle with our story to address its meaning and change the effect it has in our lives. Not being held hostage by a story that we do not even know and one that throws us around all over the place. We will also discuss the importance of knowing the larger story that we are part of.

Being Whole Hearted

In this episode I discuss how we can shut off our hearts. We do this to avoiding being hurt abandoned or rejected. We often build strong walls around our heart to protect it. The problem is while it keeps us feeling safe it also shuts us off from what we most need and desire, CONNECTION. I also discuss the story of the Tin Man from the Wizard of OZ.

Showing up as Christ

In this episode I discuss some people who have shown up as Christ in my life. I also discuss things I have learned as I have fallen short and gotten it right when I show up for others. I hope you like it. More to come for sure.

Understanding Dogs in the Fight

In this episode I discuss digging into our core feelings to be able to truly deal with and address what is really going on in our life. When all we can name and address are the core feelings it leaves us unable to fully interact with the world. It leaves us shutting down or lashing out. Here I talk about something that I was able to learn and address in my own life by digging into those core feelings and learning what was really going on. This then allowed me to show up and better interact with my wife.
