Have you ever felt like the world is getting darker and darker? It can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the shadows around us. But here's the good news: Jesus calls YOU to be the light of the world! In Matthew 5:14-16, He tells us that we are the light, like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. Just like a small generator lit up a neighborhood in darkness, your light can bring hope and joy to those around you. You don't have to do big things - small acts of kindness, love, and compassion can make a huge difference. Queen Elizabeth II once said that thousands of small acts of goodness can have a bigger impact than we imagine. So here's the challenge: for the next seven days, perform one small random act of kindness each day. Let your light shine so brightly that others see God's goodness through you. As Ephesians 5:8-9 says, live as people of light, producing only what is good and right and true. Don't hide your light any longer. The world needs your brightness. Shine on, and let's transform our communities together! Jesus is calling you to shine - will you answer the call? Episode 56 - This is my Son!

Have you ever felt lost in the fog of life, unsure of which way to turn? In those moments, we have a choice: trust our limited vision or trust the One who sees all. Just like the hikers on the mountain, we can trust the guide who knows the way. In Matthew 17, Jesus' identity is revealed in the Transfiguration. His glory shines brightly, confirming His divine nature and mission. As God's voice declares, "This is my Son, whom I love... listen to Him," we are reminded to trust Jesus completely. When life feels chaotic and uncertain, we can trust in the Son who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We are called to trust and follow Him in every season, knowing that He leads us on the right path. Today, will you choose to trust Jesus with your life, your fears, and your future? Let His glory on the mountain strengthen your faith in the valleys of life. Surrender to Him, listen to Him, and follow Him with all your heart. Episode 55 - The light breaking through

In a world filled with darkness and despair, we often find ourselves searching for a light to guide us through the storms of life. Just like the stranded fishermen in Alaska who longed for the beacon of a lighthouse, we too yearn for the light of Christ to break through our darkest moments. Isaiah prophesied about a coming Messiah who would bring hope and salvation to a broken world. In Isaiah 9:1-7, we see the promise of a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace—Jesus Christ, the light that shines in the darkness. Today, as we face our own trials and uncertainties, we can find comfort in knowing that the light of Christ is always there to guide us. He offers wisdom, power, eternal presence, and peace in the midst of our struggles. So I invite you to step into the light of Christ. Trust Him as your Savior and King, come home if you've wandered away, and find hope and strength in His presence. Let His light shine in your life today, for He is the light of the world, bringing life and hope to all who follow Him (John 8:12).

Episode 54 - Let there be light

Have you ever been in a place of darkness, where chaos seems to reign and confusion overwhelms you? Just like in the beginning, when God spoke light into the chaos and brought order, purpose, and goodness, He can do the same for us today. In Genesis 1:3, God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. This light brought clarity where there was confusion, direction where there was wandering, and hope where there was fear. God's light dispels darkness and brings new life and renewal. In our lives, we often encounter challenges and darkness, but God's light (His Word) brings understanding, calmness, and hope. Just as He separated light from darkness at creation, He can bring order and purpose into our lives, dispelling the chaos and confusion that may surround us. So today, I invite you to invite God's light into your life. Let Him bring clarity, peace, and purpose. Trust in His power to bring beauty and order out of your brokenness. Episode 52 - Where do you belong?

Have you ever felt like the odd one out in a group, unsure of where you fit in or if your contribution even matters? In 1 Corinthians 12, we are reminded that each of us has a unique role to play in the body of Christ. Just like a band needs different instruments to create a beautiful melody, the church needs diverse gifts and talents to fulfill its purpose. As Paul writes, "There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all." Whether you are a hand that serves, a mouth that teaches, or a heart that encourages, your gift is essential for the body to function effectively. So, what is your next step? Will you move from being a spectator to an active participant in God's plan? Maybe it's serving, joining a group, or sharing your faith. Whatever it may be, remember that every part of the body is crucial for its growth and impact. Don't leave as a bystander. Take your next step and say, "Use me, Lord."
