Kuya has always been somewhat of a mysterious figure. We've been knowing about this man but our paths had yet to cross so when he told us he was ready to share his journey as a producer and artist from the days of The Happy Unfortuanate - the WCMA-nominated hip hop group he shared with Malcolm Jay - to a track he produced with Dumbfounded and Breezy Lovejoy a/k/a Anderson Paak on vocals, we were happy to let him do it in the lounge space. We first caught notice of The Team as the closing act of a local dance school's Fall Showcase and we already knew after the curtain drop that we wanted to bring them into the lounge space to share their journey in the culture.
