About The Midrange Jumper

The mid-range jumper is the NBA's splitting point. The shot that's provided some of the most iconic imagery in the history of the sport is now being slowly removed from the game by analytics. Hosts Gwen and Josh represent these two different approaches to the game, the former digging into efficiency and advanced statistics and the latter appreciates the game in the moment on a visual level rather than focused calculations. On this version of "The MidRange Jumper", Gwen and Josh discuss the week-to-week story-lines of the NBA, NCAA Basketball. Occasional special guests stop in to share their unique insights into specific fanbases, aspects of covering basketball, or anything else that interests them about the league at large.

Important to note: This episode was recorded before the announcement of Steven Adam's unfortunate, season-ending knee surgery.
