Interview with the band Yuuf (June 15, or 15 June, 2026)

In this episode of the Musical Circle, Ben Charles interviews members of the London band Yuuf, who are Hugo, the guitarist and Oliver (Oli) who is the drummer. The band gives out their origin story while also talking about how the band finally formed into a strong quartet. Ben asks the band about their creative process and mindset towards not only recording music but also releasing the music to the public. Ben also asks Yuuf about how the song Silky Spring and a YouTube Live Session in the forest finally gave them recognition. Yuuf explains how the viral video happened and how it was set up. Yuuf also gives an origin story on how their 2024 EP In The Sun came out and the reaction they received from it. Yuuf explains the reaction they get from international audiences and the differences between international audiences and those in the United States. Yuuf talks about how they met Ben and the story of how Ben interacted with the band itself. Yuuf also explained why they liked Ben to begin with, as they both share different music tastes. Ben also asks the band Yuuf about their songs Alma's Cove, Iman, Calima, Mesa Mesa, Moon Dive, and Night Air, and the process that went into all of these songs. Yuuf also reveals their music collection, and the different kinds of music they listen to, not only while they travel but also while they create new songs. Yuuf then gives a reminder that they will be working on new music and what their future goals are as they continue on their musical path. Enjoy this interview! Ben Charles's Interview with Rhys II - May 10th, 2026

Ben Charles has another interview with the voice of Rainbow Radio Wales, Rhys Jones, promoting his newest show coming soon called "The Album Report". Ben answers questions about the Musical Circle coming back from vacation, and why Ben felt like it was the right time to announce the new show now rather than at the last minute. Ben expresses the feeling of Musical Circle having 100+ episodes, while Ben never expected the show to go that far. Ben also gives a lot of information about the new show and what can listeners expect from the new show. Ben promises that the Musical Circle show is not going anywhere, but he hopes that this new show becomes just as popular as the Musical Circle has become. Ben also reveals his dream interviews, as well as teasing an interview with a band who he knows all too well. Ben plays a fun game of "This or That" and answers a few more fan questions.
