Do not assault anyone for any reason ever (LOLIBERALS)” ○ Due to Shkreli’s past trends of harassment and threats, Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto determined that the posts could be seen as a true threat. ○ Shkreli’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman claims that the posts were supposed to be satirical and that Shkreli’s post only showed “immaturity, satire, a warped sense of humor.” ○ The judge disagreed and Shkreli will most likely not be released unless his lawyers can prove that he cannot pose a threat, because his post was seen as “a solicitation to assault in exchange for money that is not protected by the First Amendment” ● Equifax Update ○ IF YOU ARE AN ADULT IN THE US PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aS6z0bEpVpM&feature=share ○ Apparently Equifax was aware of the hack six weeks before they went public with the information, and heads of the company sold significant portions of their stocks before the info went public. ○ In Argentina, Equifax reportedly used “admin” as the username and password for their employee web portal, which contained employee and customer info. ○ Having access to this, according to Brian Krebs, potentially allowed “anyone could theoretically impersonate an employee by simply reading their username and password off the site, or even add themselves as a new "employee" to the database” ○ Also, the data was not at all encrypted, so it would be simple to obtain. ○ Equifax has taken down the portal and stated that this was not linked to the hacks in the U.S.
