Disaster Preparedness: Are We Ready?

He also discusses the important components of disaster planning for healthcare organizations and the importance of specifically addressing children at all levels of planning. This case-based presentation covers 3 different presentations of bronchiolitis and the risk factors for which children get the worst of it. A discussion of evidence-based prehospital interventions follows. The hour finishes with 2 fascinating cases of patients presenting with respiratory distress who end up with very unexpected diagnoses.
