Psalm 79 "Glory to your Name!" (Monday 7/6/26)

Psalm 79 is a heartfelt cry from God's people after the destruction of Jerusalem, pleading for His mercy, justice, and the vindication of His holy name. Though they confess their own sins and acknowledge God's righteous judgment, they trust that He will forgive, restore, and defend His people. Even in the midst of overwhelming sorrow, the psalm ends with confident hope that God's people will praise Him forever and proclaim His faithfulness from generation to generation.

1 Peter 3:1-7 "Marriage, witness to the gospel" (Friday 7/3/26)

1 Peter 3:1–7 reminds Christian husbands and wives that their marriages are powerful witnesses to the gospel through humility, respect, and sacrificial love. Peter calls wives to display a gentle and quiet spirit that trusts God, while husbands are commanded to honor their wives with understanding and as fellow heirs of the grace of life. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, Love is kind..." (Thursday 7/2/26

In 1 Corinthians 13:4–8, Paul describes the kind of love that reflects the very character of Christ—patient, kind, humble, forgiving, and steadfast. Rather than being defined by feelings, true love is demonstrated through selfless actions that seek the good of others, even in difficult circumstances. While spiritual gifts and earthly achievements will one day pass away, genuine Christlike love endures forever and remains the greatest mark of a faithful disciple.

Malachi 2:14-16 "The wife of your youth" (Thursday 7/1/26)

Malachi 2:14–16 reminds us that marriage is a sacred covenant established before God, who calls husbands and wives to lifelong faithfulness. The Lord condemns betrayal and unjust divorce because they violate His design for marriage and harm both families and the covenant community. As Christ remains perfectly faithful to His Church, believers are called to reflect that same steadfast love and covenant commitment in their marriages.

Ephesians 5:21-33 "Husbands love your wives" (Tuesday 6/30/26)

Ephesians 5:21–33 reveals that Christian marriage is meant to reflect the selfless, covenant love of Christ for His Church. Husbands are called to sacrificially love their wives, while wives are called to willingly respect and support their husbands, demonstrating mutual devotion rooted in Christ. As each spouse embraces God's design, marriage becomes a powerful witness to the gospel and the faithful love of Jesus.
