In this Episode, Dr. Ty McKinney talks about his personal, academic, and professional journey in psychology and mental health. Ty recently completed his PhD at the University of Utah with a research focus on brain health assessment. Using his expertise and own personal research, he co-founded a mental health tech start up called 8 Bit Cortex. This new technology and approach aims to “gamify” mental health with a focus on preventing burnout in the workplace. After the last year and a half, this could not come at a better time!
