episode Moving Abroad: Who are you? cover

Description

EPISODE 1: Does moving create a new identity? Moving is a drastic and very life changing experience, and it can be an amazing one! But there’s something about living in different places and being brought up in different areas that I think has built this all new community: those who have to think about where home is when asked. Drawing from my own experiences as a guy who moved to India when he was in 6th grade, I delve into this topic and talk about what moving feels like, how living abroad can make you feel like you are so similar yet so different from everyone and how to make the most of moving abroad! Along the way, I’ll share my experience as an American born kid who went from living in a peaceful town in New Jersey to a bustling and lively city in south India.
