Description

September 14, 2004, Reid Lake in the Yukon backcountry was the final time a world class bowhunter, wildlife biologist, and expert outdoorsman would be seen alive.  The subsequent discoveries and evidence surrounding the disappearance raised far more questions than answers, and remains an open case 19 years later. This is the unsettling story of Bart Schleyer.

God Rest Ye Merry // Doug Wilson

Are you a superstitious Christian afraid of tripping into paganism during the holidays? Is Christmas merely recycled, ancient idol worship? Should Christmas bother the conscience? Or, is Christmas jolly warfare to be waged heartily? Doug Wilson walks with us through the theological, historical, biblical, and cultural imperatives for Christmas, building off of his potently evergreen book: God Rest Ye Merry.     Our guest can be found here: https://dougwils.com [https://dougwils.com/]   God Rest Ye Merry can be purchased here: https://canonpress.com/products/god-rest-ye-merry/ [https://canonpress.com/products/god-rest-ye-merry/]   Doug’s favorite Christmas story (Christmas Every Day, by William Dean Howells, 1892) can be read for free here: https://americanliterature.com/author/william-dean-howells/short-story/christmas-every-day [https://americanliterature.com/author/william-dean-howells/short-story/christmas-every-day]
