Aden Friedman - Jews for Jesus

Raised in Cape Town within an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, Aiden lived caught between two worlds—deeply rooted in tradition, yet drawn to the pull of partying, drinking, and a lingering sense of emptiness. Everything began to shift when his now-wife Cara’s family introduced him to a Bible—a book he’d been taught never to read, especially the New Testament. In a moment of searching for peace, Aiden opened to the Gospel of Matthew—and found his biggest question answered in the very first paragraph. That encounter marked a turning point that would completely redirect his life. Today, Aiden and Cara are married and serving in ministry with Jews for Jesus, an international organization headquartered in San Francisco dedicated to helping people explore Jewish life and faith in Jesus. Wendy Couper - Rising Above

Wendy is a case manager at Rising Above Peterborough, a local not-for-profit Christian organization here in Ontario, that supports struggling individuals. The program focuses on breaking cycles of defeat and addiction, teaching them life skills and helping them find freedom in Jesus.
