About The Walk - A Discipleship Journey

Experiencing the life that God has for us goes beyond a Sunday morning. Yet in our busy world it can be difficult to implement sustainable practices into our lives. The goal of this podcast is to help you on your journey with Jesus. Each week there will be 3 ”lessons”. Take your time, don’t try and do it all in one day. Spend time reflecting on the material, let it soak. Next, don’t do this alone. Find at least one other person or a group to walk this journey with. Try and meet together once a week to discuss the questions, bounce ideas off each other, wrestle with the material, encourage each other to keep going, and hold each other accountable to the action points. There a no quick fixes in life. Eugene Peterson said that following Jesus is a ”long obedience in the same direction”. My hope and prayer is simply that this material helps you to keep walking with and towards Jesus.

Work through 3 episodes per week (do no more than one per day). Spend time reflecting on the material and pressing into the challenges. At the end of each week, connect with at least one other person who is working through the material as well. Reflect on what you've learned, what's been challenging, and hold each other accountable to the work. Pray for each other and share life with each other as you take this journey together. This first module will take 4 weeks.
