Make Your Choice: Clean Election Movement

In this episode I talk to Dr. Villo Naleo, the head of the Clean Election Movement (CEM) initiated by Nagaland Baptist Church Council. We talk about the rationale of the CEM and what it hopes to achieve in terms of addressing the rampant election process in the State. Church and poltics are seen as opposing poles but Nagaland being a Christian majority state is uniquely placed to compliment political process in the form of Christian witness in the political foray of the State rather than withdrawing away from it. So far the Church has been unclear and uncertain about her political theology but with the CEM the church hopes to bring about a revolutionary change in the political process, however slow it may be, by witnessing to exercise one's legitimate birthright which is a biblical and transparent process in nation building.
