Episode 8-Sports Media Spat at ESPN, Do People Care About the Subway Series, and Resetting the Money in the NFL

After a two week hiatus, the dynamic duo was back at it and right from the jump tackled a hard-hitting topic surrounding the mothership of ESPN involving two women who cover the NBA in Rachel Nichols who hosts The Jump, and Maria Taylor who hosts the pre and post-game shows on NBA Countdown. Nichols was caught on a "hot mic" talking about ESPN's lack of diversity from her point of view and how she was not going to let Taylor take her job. Next, G recently threw a question out on social media polling the people if non-New Yorkers cared or didn't care about when the Mets and Yankees played each other. Also, some startling numbers regarding Gerrit Cole and how he's pitched without grip enhancers. Finally, to finish things up it was a feel-good baseball story from G and a not-so-distant sports memory from Angie about how the NFL salaries began getting a bit excessive perhaps or maybe perhaps not...

Angie had a really cool experience going to the Knoxville Super Regional and G's heading to Omaha to follow the Tennessee Volunteers!  One of the scariest sports injuries/disasters we've seen on a field, spider tack in baseball, a great award to a Nashville Predators goalie, and the most iconic car chase in the history of car chases.
