Alfred Muller is a crafter of Gothic tales. He’s most known for his Water Crystal series, a contemporary fantasy story blending supernatural elements with occult lore. He has various short stories exploring other elements of the supernatural as well as high fantasy. For a younger audience they can check out Dream Tale, a portal fantasy exploring the adventures of dreams. When not writing, Alfred enjoys reading, watching hockey, and spending time with his family. Episode 144- Immersion- Soak the Good Stuff In

Scott Pearson is a full-time freelance writer and editor working across multiple genres in both traditional and indie publishing. His published works include short stories and novellas in humor, mystery, horror, urban fantasy, and science fiction. His most recent publication is The Sad Rains of Mars: New and Collected Stories, which includes nine previously anthologized stories plus three stories exclusive to this edition. Forthcoming, with fellow author William Leisner, is their as-yet-untitled third volume of Tales of the Weird World War. Scott’s Star Trek fiction appears in a handful of anthologies and the e-book exclusive The More Things Change. Although he coscripted two IMAX space documentaries, Space Next and Touch the Stars, they’ve never been booked in his home state, so he’s never seen his name on the big screen. He was an in-house nonfiction editor for ten years, primarily of military history, before getting laid off and going freelance and shifting to fiction. He copyedited the Simon & Schuster Star Trek novels for ten years before becoming their developmental editor. He’s an editor and occasional writer for the Star Trek Adventures roleplaying game and proofreads graphic novels and comic books for IDW, including their Star Trek titles. He also copyedits for Baen Books and works directly with many indie authors on their self-published books in the above-mentioned genres. She writes two different dark fantasy book series: The Raashan Series and the Lost Beacon Chronicles. Romantic subplots are a staple in her stories, especially the Raashan Series. History and mythology are continuous inspirations in her writing. So, you'll even get some fun historical and mythological nuances to rattle off at parties when you read her books. I was a professional or semi-professional cosplayer as a teenager and very early 20s, been doing it just for fun and as a volunteer since the early 2000s. It's a great community.

My debut YA fantasy The Phoenix Host actually started with a tiny blue agate necklace from my rock-loving dad. That little stone sparked an entire world where my main character deals with magically-induced headaches. Because, apparently I write what I know, even in fantasy! After twelve rejection letters and an… interesting publishing experience, I found my publishing groove and have now released all four books in the Roanfire Saga, with over 4,000 copies sold. I write for teens who are figuring out where they belong in this crazy world, probably because I'm still figuring that out myself. These days, having finally cracked the code on my health puzzle, I'm fascinated by how stories can be both our escape hatch when we need a break, and our compass when we're ready to face whatever comes next.
