Thinking in Frames
India's prospects for economic growth over the next two decades, considering its large, young population. We identify key challenges, including job displacement from automation, a high cost of living, uneven population growth, and infrastructure deficiencies. We analyze the Indian Union Budget's effectiveness in addressing these issues and presents three scenarios—best, medium, and worst-case—for success, with the medium-case scenario showing a 55% probability of leveraging India's demographic dividend.
