Congratulations - You are now aware of the previous six laws of achievement- you've learned that the law of attitude says that you must believe in yourself before attempting anything, the law of ability states that you must find the unique talent that rests within you, the law of aim encourages you to select a big goal to achieve, the law of action shouts that you must practice, practice, practice to achieve your goal, the law of adaptability warns you that the world will not stand still so that you can achieve your goal and you must be ready to adapt to environmental changes, and the law of association highlights the importance of connecting yourself to positive people and positive things. You are now ready for the seventh and final law of achievement - the law of accomplishment.  What should you do when you reach the mountaintop of your dreams. The Sixth Law of Achievement - The Law of Association

The sixth law is extremely important  - the Law of Association states that "your associations will impact your aspirations." Like crabs in a barrel, not everyone that you associate with want to see you succeed. There will be times when you will have break off unhealthy associations. The trick is to know that they are bad for you and to have the bravery to separate yourself. Interview anyone successful and you'll find in their background places where they executed this sixth law.

The Fifth Law of Achievement - The Law of Adaptability

Wouldn't it be great if the world stood still while we chased our goals? Unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way. As soon as you set your goal, obstacles begin to gather in your path leaving you with three choices - stop, turn and go back, or find another way around. The " find another way around" is the basis of the fifth law. Don't stop just because something gets in your way. It may take you a week, a month, or years to go around an obstacle. Whatever you do , don't stop. Not grasping the fifth law has caused many to give up on their dreams. Your goal should never change, but how you get there will likely change frequently.

The Fourth Law of Achievement - The Law of Practice

We are all born with talent but it takes practice to become a master at a talent. All successful people have learned to apply this law over and over in the lives. If you want to become a great writer, then practice writing. If you want to become a great basketball player, then practice. Whatever your goal in life, know that the goal will not come without pouring in hours of practice perfecting the skill that will propel you to your goal. Vince Lombardi said it best - "We win our games in practice" but I added "but we collect our trophies at the event." Practice, practice, practice.

The Third Law of Achievement - Aim

The 3rd law of achievement is extremely critical. After you have adopted the right attitude ( the 1st law) and you have discovered your natural talent ( the 2nd law) the 3rd law combines them together to point at something big....that's your goal. Don't cheat yourself by playing it safe and select something small. You were meant to do something big so don't play it safe because you are afraid of failing.
