About Too Busy Being Worthy

Hi friends! We'd like to welcome you to a safe space where we share our current walk towards building emotional intelligence, finding security within, and radically accepting who we are through every stage we enter in life. So much happens in our individual experiences that greatly impact how we show up in the world. The energy that flows through us matters, and it is directly correlated to how we experience every circumstance we're faced with. While we may not have control over our circumstances, we do have control over how we experience them. We have the power to take control of our life's narrative and completely rewrite the script. Think of us as your supportive best friends, standing with you hand in hand as we all wether this storm together. We intend to give you all valuable tools that will hopefully make this human experience just a little bit easier to understand. We love and appreciate you so deeply. Thank you for letting us into your lives! 🤍Make sure to follow us on all platforms!Instagram: https://instagram.com/toobusybeingworthyYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@TooBusyBeingWorthyTikTok: tiktok.com/@toobusybeingworthy Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567481721432&mibextid=LQQJ4d

Rejection Navigates You to Your Destination

Rejection can be very difficult to work through. At one point in our lives we've faced rejection, and if you haven't faced it yet, it will come. Whenever we experience anything for the first time, it leaves a heavy imprint on us. This is because the feelings we internalize from those experiences either confirm or deny what we believe about ourselves and the world. If the experience was positive, we're naturally inclined to move towards it again, as we want to feel that feeling again. However, being rejected can make us question our worth. That's an extremely intense emotional trigger, so it's understandable why it would put someone in a state of fear, causing them to respond in whatever way it is they do when their fear is brought to the surface. The thing with rejection, similarly to everything we experience, is that whatever it stirs up in us is catalyzed by the meaning WE assign to it. So, if being rejected does make you question what you’re worth, it presents you with a grand opportunity to ask yourself why that's the case and if you want to let it have that kind of power over you.

episode The Art of Surrendering artwork

The Art of Surrendering

Hello! Welcome to the Too Busy Being Worthy Podcast. Here, we discuss different practices we've learned over the course of our twenties that help us navigate this decade of life in a way that is intentional and true to who we are. In order to live a life that is most true to us, we have to surrender. Surrender to the fact that we do not have control over anything except ourselves. Some people can be elaborate planners and have every detail of their lives worked out to a T. That can definitely be helpful in bringing us a sense of comfort for what's truthfully unknown. However, life will bring us so many unforeseen circumstances that can be jarring to experience if we expect certain outcomes. Life will always surprise us, because we don't know all the inner workings of the universe. Situations are going to present themselves where we have the option to either resist or adapt. If we're so determined to do things the EXACT way we planned, it can seem like we're persevering and weathering the storm that will eventually allow us to continue forward on our path. However, when we're resistant, we're resisting the lessons that life is trying to teach us. When we surrender to stillness, it can allow us to look at our current circumstances objectively, which can then lead to us coming to a place of acceptance. When we can accept our life in its entirety for what it is, we can then accept ourselves. Coming to a place of self acceptance puts you in a state of power, because it relieves the pressure to be anything that isn't true to you. With this freedom comes the willingness to try new things, which opens you up to finding yourself and your path. That path isn't going to be straight forward, so you need to have the willingness adapt and surrender to the fact that changing directions is necessary in order to stay on route. You'll arrive at your destination, you just have to trust that you put the right address in. If you absolutely LOVED this episode, make sure to follow us on our other platforms! Sensitivity

Hello all you worthy beings... and welcome! I'm so glad you've decided to join me today. This week I talk about the sensitive nature of humans and how it can be used as a serving tool for connecting and relating to others. Emotions can be scary when we don't know how to process the information we're taking in that causes them to form. From my personal life experience, this tends to be that case for a lot of people that I've come across. As a result, we can form coping mechanisms that put us in a cycle of constant suffering. When we're deeply engaged in this cycle, it can be difficult to see a way out of it. As we run further away from our triggers, the gradually become a lot scarier to face because we are constantly affirming ourselves that they're something to be afraid of. So... how do we break a cycle? We insert new actions. When we are able to go off script and cancel the regularly scheduled program, we stop affirming the beliefs that fuel the cycle we're caught in. In this case, instead of running away from our emotions, we can look at them with curiosity and compassion. Once we are able to face ourselves and move towards these uncomfortable feelings, the cloud of fear surrounding them slowly evaporates. Only then, will we be able to embrace our sensitive nature and use the signals our feelings send us to move closer to living an aligned life. episode Creating a Safe Emotional Home Within artwork

Creating a Safe Emotional Home Within

Hello Beauties! Today's a solo episode. Unfortunately, Anna and I had a scheduling conflict, however we still wanted to get an episode out! This week, I talk about what it means to have a safe space internally to turn to whenever stress, self doubt, neglect, or shame start to creep in. As someone who has been anxiously attached, I would always find myself in situations that would reinforce the anxious feelings that I already felt prior to forming relationships with others. If you never learn how to form a safe space within yourself, a moment is bound to come where you will be disappointed with someone else's actions or how life will take your current circumstance and flip it on it's head. I'll also discuss my experience with moving from a strong anxiously attached place into a more secure state of being, as well as some strategies I've implemented that can hopefully be of use to you all! episode Boundaries artwork

Boundaries

Hi everyone! Today's topic is something that has been an integral part of our journey in gaining clarity, healing our wounds, and moving with freedom. That would be setting boundaries. If you're a people pleaser or an empath, it can be difficult to set boundaries. When you feel other people's energy very deeply, it can be extremely taxing for your emotional state to take in any negativity. Once we make the decision to set boundaries, we run the risk of receiving a response that can disrupt the safe and comfortable world that we've built. However, that world is one without a stable foundation. When you people please, you aren't connected to yourself, which means you aren't able to honor the messages your body sends you through the energy that's being transmitted to you. Subconsciously, that energy you receive is being blocked from flowing out of you, so you end up harboring it all within when it isn't yours to carry. Not only does it drain you, but it stops you from growing. Setting boundaries allows you to connect with yourself and the messages you receive. You're able to sit with them and discover what it is your mind, body, and soul needs in order for you to thrive. We'll get more into what that process looks like during today's discussion, as well as ways to go about communicating boundaries with the people you love that will give them insight on where you're at, while maintaining respect for them in their life's journey. If you enjoy this please consider subscribing! We'd love to hear your stories and your perspectives on setting boundaries!
