We are two besties who got knocked on our butts when our long-term spouses suddenly bounced during the pandemic. Since then we have found that we are not alone. The divorce rate has doubled since 1990 for those over 55, and for those 65+ it has tripled! And women's standard of living plummets by 45% after divorce, more than double that of men.
