Description

How does a moderate make do in deep blue Massachusetts? Democratic strategist Joe Trippi and celebrated political author Joe Klein are joined by another Massachusetts Marine, Jake Auchincloss. Only 38, Jake is an Afghanistan veteran who took over his district from the Kennedy dynasty in 2020. The Joes ask him about Iran, the midterms, gerrymandering, and what comes next. “If they’re going to go after Louisiana, Alabama, Florida,” he said of Republican gerrymandering, “we should take Maryland, Illinois, New York. This is hockey. This is a contact sport. … So we have to hit back hard.”
