Ubuntu Narratives Podcast
Millennials and Gen Z are redefining the future of work. Shamim Walusimbi and Sheirat Namayanja join us to discuss the future of work and the role of young people in shaping workplace culture. Sheirat, a youth leader and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocate, brings her experience in policy advocacy, HIV awareness, and gender equality. Shamim is a Global HR Consultant and offers insights from a human resources perspective on how Millennials and Gen Z are redefining professional spaces. Together, they explore how young voices are driving innovation, inclusivity, and resilience in the modern workplace. Sheirat is also a HER Voice Fund Ambassador with Y+ Global, which represents youth living with HIV. The HER Voice Fund provides grants to organisations to support efforts to fight HIV and strengthen the leadership of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW). Shamim is a board member of the African Human Resources Confederation (AHRC), an organisation that seeks to improve HR across the continent to further enable Africa's rapid growth.
