Study Abroad at UMD

The University of Minnesota Duluthâ€™s International Education Office offers study abroad programs in numerous countries around the world. Students not only expand their international and intercultural awareness, they also learn more about themselves as they venture â€œout of the comfort zone.â€ About 26% of graduating seniors have some international experience. The IEO hopes to increase that number to 50% by 2012. In this video clip, student Heidi Hale talks about her trip, "down under."
