Case 1: The Mbeya Scroll audio podcast

My case file The Mbeya Scroll kicks off a globe-spanning, mythology-meets-science thriller saga where I, an Indian intelligence officer Ron, became the unlikely guardian of Earth’s most ancient secret. A mysterious scroll found near the Ellora Caves in India bears the same undeciphered script as the Phaistos Disc of Crete. When the artefact triggers an unexplained energy pulse, I am pulled into a conspiracy stretching back to a civilisation erased before recorded history. My journey sent me from the fog-soaked ruins of Hauz Khas in Delhi to a terminated AI language lab in Amsterdam, from the underground city beneath Ellora to a meteorite crater in Mbeya, Tanzania. At the centre of the storm stood Lanky, an enigmatic guardian whose glowing wrist and uncanny travel abilities suggested that he may not be human at all! As I pieced together the truth, I learnt that COVID-19 was only the first failed attempt by a rogue network to breach an ancient, cosmic power source. If my team failed to decode the Mbeya Scroll in time, Earth would have faced a catastrophic reset of its history, biology, and memory. In this audio podcast series from my field notes, I pick some of the situations that baffled me during this case. Till the time I publish the entire case file, come along with me on this audio podcast to peep into some of the mystries. By the way, the town of Mbeya in Tanzania is pronounced as Beya in Swahili.
