Female Gaze: The Film Club
In this special bonus episode of Female Gaze: The Film Club, Morgan spoke with filmmaker Anna Rodgers about her short film, “Grace,” which had its U.S. and international premiere at the Cleveland International Film Festival. The film follows a young woman named Grace who has an intellectual disability as she navigates her relationships with her family, her carers, and her boyfriend Tommy. The film explores disability and sexuality largely through Grace’s perspective. It is a thought-provoking film which sensitively examines these experiences. In their conversation, Morgan and Anna discuss Anna's start in film, moving into the narrative filmmaking space, and initial reactions to "Grace."
