She explains to Jo, in the study of the Neurodivergent there are differences,  not deficits. And that Behaviors are a language. A way to communicate when NeuroDiverse individuals lack the communication tools of the NeuroTypical. Kristina explains how as a community, we must learn to step back, not react, but assess situations, and all the variables that may be related environmentally, emotionally, mentally and physically when inappropriate and sometime disturbing behaviors present themselves. And if we can step back, assess and recognize it is a language, we  will be able to better communicate with the neurodiverse and create a safer community.
