Heard a radio announcer say we needed tourism to survive here on Kaua’i and also said kaua’i county officials need to do more than receive a paycheck. Hmm... quite interesting to me.

Welcome to WaiWai! First podcast for the day Monday July 15th 2019. An update of Mauna Kea as crews prepare to begin the construction of the thirty meter telescope. Protestors or “protectors” are in place to greet them in an effort to discourage construction and also to hold the state accountable for not following their own laws. Protectors have had enough and are willing to do what is necessary in order to protect our land, our people, and our very existence as Kanaka Maoli.
