About Walk with Marie-Eve Bédard

Marie-Eve is a French-Canadian living in the German Black Forest with her husband and dogs, where walking is practice, lifestyle, and philosophy—a way to reconnect, honor, and deepen our bond with ourselves, each other, and the living earth. She is a trained master biologist (M.Sc.), naturopath (ND), somatics and fasciatherapeutic movement educator, in-betweenness mentor, life transition guide, and thanadoula, moving at the crossroads of science, spirit, and embodied wisdom. Here, we go on literal and metaphorical walks, where grief, life, death, transformation, and neurospicyness collide with curiosity, courage, and heart-to-heart wisdom. Every step reveals thresholds: truths we no longer avoid, stories we carry into the light, and possibilities that emerge when familiar paths vanish and we discover new, aligned ways to continue walking our journey. Listen to Walk with Marie-Eve to discover how your brutiful (brutal + beautiful) grief will spark the revolution of your life. intothelightwithme.substack.com

Not because it’s dramatic. But because it reframes an entire lifetime. In this episode, I share the story behind my recent ADHD diagnosis, and how it shifted the way I understand my past struggles with anxiety, depression, burnout, and repeated patterns that never fully made sense. This isn’t a story about labels. It’s a story about recognition. About compassion. About finally finding language for something that was always there. For years, I navigated panic attacks, medication side effects, grief, burnout, and cycles of trying to fix symptoms without ever knowing the true root cause. From a medication interaction that went unnoticed for over a year, to deep exploration into mind-body health, herbs, movement, and nervous system support, every step led here. To understanding. To naming what had quietly shaped my life from the beginning. Receiving an ADHD diagnosis as an adult is not just clinical. It is emotional. Reflective. Disorienting. Liberating. In this conversation, I walk you through that journey. Not as an expert speaking from theory. But as someone standing inside the experience while it unfolds. Many adults live for decades without understanding why life feels harder than it seems to be for others. They are told they are anxious. Depressed. Overwhelmed. Burned out. But sometimes, those are not the root causes. They are consequences. This episode opens a conversation about late diagnoses, masking, misinterpretation of symptoms, and the long journey toward self-understanding. If you have ever wondered: * Why certain patterns repeat in your life * Why traditional approaches didn’t fully help * Why burnout keeps returning * Why you feel like you are constantly pushing uphill This episode may resonate deeply.
